The requested and final URL, the HTTP status and content type, and how many redirects were followed. Then, from the delivered HTML: the <title>, the meta description, canonical links, meta robots directives, the X-Robots-Tag response header, the viewport, Open Graph and Twitter card tags, hreflang alternates, and how many H1 headings the page has.
Duplicates and conflicts are the point. Two canonicals pointing at different addresses, or an X-Robots-Tag that disagrees with the meta robots tag, are the kind of thing that quietly keeps a page out of search results — and neither shows up if you only read the tags one at a time.
